STATEMENT:

Coaching Insight is operated by Nathalie Bedros, RN, Psychotherapist, BScN, MAEd, Certified Coach Practitioner, in Ontario, Canada. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information collected through the Coaching Insight website, contact and consent forms, online booking, newsletters, and related administrative processes. Clinical records created during counseling or psychotherapy are governed by PHIPA and CNO documentation requirements and are addressed separately below.

Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to respond to you and provide services:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone)

  • Information you submit on forms or when booking sessions

  • Basic technical data (cookies, analytics) about how the site is used

You may browse the site without identifying yourself. Providing contact information is optional but required to book or receive certain services.

How we use your information
We use it to:

  • Respond to your inquiries

  • Schedule and manage sessions

  • Send announcements or updates (only with your consent; you may unsubscribe at any time)

  • Improve the website

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and tools such as Wix Analytics to understand traffic and improve function. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may then be limited.

Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, secure booking, email, or clinical platforms). These providers are limited to what is necessary for their function and are not authorized to use the information for their own purposes.

We may disclose information when required or permitted by law (for example, a court order, child-protection duty, or to prevent serious harm).

Therapy confidentiality
Counseling and psychotherapy sessions are confidential under PHIPA and CNO standards. Clinical notes are stored securely and accessed only for care. Exceptions are limited and include imminent risk of serious harm, a child in need of protection, a court order, or other legal duties. In those cases only the minimum necessary information is disclosed. De-identified consultation with a supervisor may occur as part of ethical practice this is called “supervision”.

Storage, security, and retention
Information is stored on secure platforms selected for privacy standards, with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No internet transmission is completely secure. Clinical records are retained as required by Ontario rules—generally 10 years after the last entry, or 10 years after a minor turns 18.

Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or (where legally permissible) deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent at anytime. Contact us at the address below. Withdrawing consent for clinical care may limit our ability to continue services.

Changes
We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new date. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated where practicable.
